A fellowship is underway in Saur!
Our aim? Two pronged. We wanted to bring learning and education to the doorsteps of Saur. We also want tourism to make its foray into the community and lend to the livelihood of the village.
Our first fellowship cohort has two fellows, who have now commenced a six month long journey to start bringing our plans to fruition.
After a nationwide screening process we found two soulmates for Saur, Revati Kulkarni and Lipi Ramola.
Under the fellowship, they will be teaching Computers and English to the children and young adults of Saur. Along with the education, the girls will be building the tourism leg of Due North (a homestay in the village, that is working to restore the village and its tourism) and the sustainability of the village.
